Learning methods of dog

THE FIRST STEP OF ANY TRAINING SESSION: >>> GET YOUR DOGS ATTENTION !

Personally, I just to get my treats bags and my Mimi is ready to do anything (she is so greedy that little yorkie !!!)!

It has always been like that even when she was young! My other 2 dogs are younger than Mimi .... so they always have copied the action of Mimi so I have no problem attracting the attention of all my dog!

But sometimes things happening differently, and our little yorkies are distracted ...

TIPS FOR CATCHING THE ATTENTION OF YOUR DOG

TIP # 1 - Put yourself at the same level as your dog

Crouch close to your dog or puppy and show it a treat (or toy if they prefer) by holding the treat close to your chin. Say the name of your dog and wait until he looks at you , when he did the action ( look at you) give him the reward.

Do this several times a day until the dog looks at you automatically when you pronounce his name. Always wait a little longer before giving him the reward ... try to reach at least 10 seconds of continuous attention from him.

TIP NO 2 - Change in your voice tone or treat
Si votre chien perd rapidement intérêt... Essayer de changer de gâterie ou de jouet, modifier le ton de votre voix en la rendant un peu plus aigu, bouger un peu plus pour rendre le jeu excitant.

TIP NO 2 - Change in tone or treat If your dog loses interest quickly ... Try to change the king of treat or toy you are giving him, change your voice tone by making it a little bit high-pitched, move a bit to make the game more exciting.

TIP NO 3 - Find out why your dog or puppy does not like training
TIP NO 3 - Find out why your baby does not like dressing If your dog seems to hate training session ... Try to find what he does not like ... Are you too dominant with your dog?
Try to be happy and show him how happy you are before you start your training sessions. Start very slowly and very softly with him.

TIP # 4 - Choose the right time for the training sessions
Is The timing of your training sessions good?

Maybe your dog has a full stomach and did not want a candy?
Maybe your dog has a rough days ans is too tired?
Maybe your dog has to go right now so he cannont concentrate on somthing else?
IMPORTANT:  ALWAYS WORK ONLY ONE EXERCICE AT A TIME

To facilitate the learning of your dog, you should perform only one new exerccie AT A TIME .... until he masters it perfectly.

Training's sessions should not exceed more than 3 minutes at a time.

It is also important to repeat new exercise several times a day until he mastered himself.

You and your dog are ready to attack the basic commands! Try to be patient with your dog because they each have their own rhythm .... like humans!

My Mimi learns a turn in 2 times ... while my more timid Lenny always puts a little more time to react because he is shy and not sure .... follow the rhythm of your nice doggie!

Use the same word with your dog. When you're not happy .... A nice "No" saif firmly is much more effective than a long speech in which you explain to your dog what you like about his actions!! I'm not talking a little no, no, no, no, no said slowly butyou have to said it with a firm tone. ... And believe me this is enough to make him understand. Specially yorkie...that are so intelligent dogs!
